Undated--Thousands of iron supplements are being recalled because their packaging is not child-resistant. They were sold nationwide at Walgreens retail stores under the Walgreens brand name.
About 64,000 bottles are part of the recall. Ingesting multiple iron supplements at once can cause serious injury or death to young children.
Consumers should keep this product out of reach of children and return it to Walgreens for a free replacement.
Walgreens retail stores sold the product from April 2005 through October 2005 for about $5.00.
