Bainbridge- A Bainbridge man attempting to reel in his catch drowns. Seventy five year old Glenn Nelson was reaching down to grab the fish he had just caught at Ralph King Landing Wednesday afternoon, when he lost his balance. Nelson couldn't swim. A friend fishing with him dialed 911.

"We do know that Mr. Glenn did have a prosthetic leg on the right side, and he had had a stroke and was partially paralyzed on one side," said Sgt. Rick Ashley, Decatur County Sheriff.

It took a dive team and the game commission about two hours to find his body. They also found Nelson's pole with the fish still attached to the hook.
