Albany -- Firefighters say it was a miracle a 12-year-old boy was not burned when someone threw two Molotov cocktails at a South Albany home.

Investigators say one of the jars, filled with gasoline, crashed through the window of a home on Lippitt Drive about 3:00 AM. The Molotov cocktail burst on a couch where the boy was sleeping, but a blanket kept him from being burned.

Four people were in the home during the attack, but no one was hurt and the house sustained little damage.

Investigators think the attacker knew the family, but have made no arrests.
