Albany--An armed robber who claimed to have a bomb struck Monday night at the Albany Mall.
Albany Police were working the scene at about 8:30 P.M. They say a 21-year-old man walked into A-One Toys and demanded money.
They say the robber claimed a black box he was holding would explode if the store's cashier did not cooperate.
The crook took off with a twenty dollar bill that was mounted on the store's wall. Police later arrested him in Lee County but have not released his name.
A jury convicted a Crisp County man on two counts of child molestation Friday. The jury came back with a guilty verdict for Hermenegildo Virgil Friday.
