Thomasville- Thomasville Internet users will spend less time waiting for their favorite web sites to load. Upgrades to the city's dial up Internet service will allow web pages to load 14 times faster.

"The pages will load a lot faster now, you don't have to choose between whether you want picture clarity or if you want speed, the pictures come in much, much faster than they did before," said Sherri Nix, Thomasville Marketing Coordinator.

The upgrade allows text to quickly load onto the screen and any digital images will gradually get clearer the longer you're on the page. Only dial up customers will see the difference.
