Albany - An Albany woman, charged in a money laundering and drug ring, is now off the hook. Donna Wilson was charged in a 67-count indictment. She was one of 12 people prosecutors said were involved in a three year scheme of burglary, marijuana dealing and racketeering.
Her trial ended with a hung jury, and now prosecutors say they won't re-try the case. D.A. Ken Hodges says Wilson's involvement was minimal, and it's not worth spending more money and resources to re-try the case.
Her mother, Dora Wilson, is already in prison for drug trafficking.
