Moultrie man wins a million dollars

Moultrie-- A Moultrie firefighter is South Georgia's newest millionaire after striking gold in the Georgia Lottery's Gold Rush instant game. Charles Dickerson II scratched off the lucky ticket while still in this One Stop convenience store on February the tenth.

The 19-year veteran of the Moultrie Fire Department says he will keep working, even after winning the big prize.

"I have been working at the fire department for about nineteen year's, so I plan to keep on working and my wife does to. Were just gonna put it up for our kids' education and just retirement I reckon" said Dickerson.

The $300 million Gold Rush is a $10 game with thirty millionaires and the highest instant game prize in Georgia history.
