Thomasville- A lot of south Georgia kids are sick. Thomasville's only Pediatric practice has been swamped with sick children. Doctors at the Pediatric Center are double and triple booked.

It's been that way for the last three weeks because of flu cases. Doctors are sending those patients away with some good advice.

"One thing that we're stressing to our parents with the flu is extremely good hand washing, that's the most important thing to prevent it from spreading. Plenty of fluids, plenty of Tylenol, Motrin," said Keri Roberts, LPN, The Pediatric Center.

Doctor's say they're concerned that children who get the flu first will spread the symptoms to their parents.
