Albany - An Albany woman will represent the city in the Mrs. Georgia Pageant this weekend. Easter Hardy was chosen as Albany's representative after sending in pictures and an application to the state, since the city doesn't have its own preliminary pageant. But Hardy hopes to organize a Mrs. Albany Pageant next year.
"I'm looking in the future to start a "Mrs." pageant here," said Hardy. "So we, the married women here and in surrounding cities, will have a chance to go out in competition."
The Mrs. Georgia Pageant is Sunday afternoon in Atlanta.
