Albany -- An Albany man is headed to prison for a deadly D-U-I wreck. 68-year old Arnold Gray was sentenced to 12 years Tuesday in the drunk driving death of a 19 year old woman and her unborn child.
Gray stood motionless as he was sentenced. The victim's family sat in the courtroom wearing shirts that bore Kristy Tullis' picture.
Tullis was killed in September 2004 when her car by hit by Gray's truck at the intersection of Palmyra Road and Schley Avenue in Albany.
The family is satisfied with his sentence. Redrika Tullis, the victim's sister said "It is time enough to think about Kristy and Alex for the rest of his life. Will this help bring your family some closure? It has brought our family some closure."
Arnold Gray is forbidden to drive or to drink for ten years after he leaves prison, and must pay 20-thousand dollars in restitution.
The Tullis family has filed a lawsuit against Gray.
