Athens - Georgia head coach Mark Richt will not have to recruit a new recruiting coordinator.
Georgia defensive line coach and recruiting coordinator Rodney Garner was in the running to be the defensive line coach for the New Orleans Saints in the NFL.
Garner announced Monday he is staying with the Bulldogs where he just received a big pay raise.
Last year, Mark Richt named Rodney Garner assistant head coach when LSU made an offer for one of the best recruiters in college football.
Rodney Garner, who has also coached at Auburn and Tennessee, was hired at Georgia by Jim Donnan eight years ago and was retained by Mark Richt.
Richt is looking for a running backs coach after Kirby Smart left for a job coaching safeties for Nick Saban and the Miami Dolphins.
