Florists working late hours to fill lovers orders

February 13, 2006

Albany- Many florists expect to be bleary eyed Tuesday. They're working overtime to get everything ready for Valentine's Day. The folks at Petal Pushers in Albany worked well past normal closing time Monday night to finish up all the arrangements.

"We try to spend as many late days as we can so it's organized and we get everybody's product out, make everybody happy and make it a special day for everybody," said Pamela Watts, Petal Pushers Owner.

In fact, Petal Pushers had to order more flowers after selling out their original stock. Tuesday will be the busiest delivery day of the year. Many florists hired extra drivers to get everybody's order out on time.
