Gators honor Hetland

Gainesville, Fl. - Leesburg's Chris Hetland picked up a big award at the Florida football team banquet Saturday night.

Hetland was named the Gators special teams player of the year in 2005.

The junior kicker, who earned a scholarship after the 2005 season, earned second team All-Southeastern conference honors in making 13-16 field goals and 38 of 40 extra point attempts.

He was named twice named SEC speical teams player of the week last season.
