Colquitt County - The Colquitt County Sheriff's Office is investigating a brutal home invasion that took place Wednesday night about 9:30.

Three assailants, dressed all in black, and wearing black ski masks, burst into a mobile home at Lot 2, of the mobile home park at 657 Circle Road, just outside the Moultrie city limits, and terrorized the eight people who lived there.

The masked men were armed, and shot two of the residents in the leg, and struck one of the victims with a pistol barrel.

All the residents were robbed of various personal property and some cash.

Detective Captain Hal Suber of the Colquitt County Sheriff's Office said that the bandits ran out of the mobile home, and possibly had a getaway vehicle nearby, though none of the victims actually saw a car.
