Turner County -- A teenager is hit and killed by a tractor trailer in Turner County. The accident happened around 1:05 Tuesday morning on Highway 112, about a mile south of Ashburn.

Nineteen-year-old Arthur Mayo of Ashburn was walking down the road when he was hit by the truck, driven by Jameel Shamsiddeen.

The truck driver told troopers that the teen was wearing dark clothes and that he just didn't see him.

Troopers don't know why Mayo was walking so late at night. No charges have been filed.
