Albany - The Albany State Lady Rams continue to creep up the standings in the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
One reason has been the play of sophomore Aldrany Peak.
The former Randolph-Clay Lady Red Devil has been named the SIAC's women's player of the week for the second time in the last three weeks.
Peak earned the award last week when she averaged 16 points and 12 rebounds in wins at Lane College and Kentucky State.
Albany State women have won six of their last eight games and are in sixth place in the SIAC standings with a 6-5 conference record.
