Leesburg - The big news in football is of course college recruiting.
National signing day is just six days off and the number of players still available is shrinking.
Lee County offensive lineman Ryan Broadhead decided Wednesday South Carolina was the place for him.
The all-state tackle committing to Steve Spurrier's Gamecocks.
Broadhead says offensive line is a priority for the Gamecocks on the recruiting trail this winter and after a redshirt season this fall has a chance to play for South Carolina in 2007.
The chance to play for one of the best coaches in college football is another reason Ryan Broadhead chose South Carolina.
Broadhead says during his recruiting visits to various colleges that Steve Spurrier was the only head coach who gave recruits a tour of the campus.
Ryan Broadhead said "He is a great guy. I met him alot this past week. He is kind of his own person. He is a really good family guy. He is a great guy. I think it is great to play for such a winner."
Ryan Broadhead was also considering Clemson, East Carolina and the University of Memphis.
