Albany-- The doors are opening tonight on the twentieth Quail Unlimited Celebrity Quail Hunt. It's a big fundraiser for quail unlimited, which preserves game bird habitat. Sports celebrities and stars from film and television will again be in attendance this year. Organizers say it's a great example of southern hospitality.

"It's a tremendous public relations thing, and the Albany area is just phenominal for the support, the volunteers and the hospitality" said Tom Mohrhauser with Quail Unlimited.

Tonight is the landowners' appreciation dinner and celebrity memorabilia silent auction. Hunters will depart for the first day of quail hunting tomorrow morning at seven.
