Albany - Dr. Laurence Crimmins has spent the past 12 years at Phoebe where he was instrumental in the creation of Southwest Georgia Family Medicine Residency Program.
Tuesday afternoon, the conference room at the Phoebe Family Medicine Center was dedicated in his name.
Dr. Crimmins told stories about found memories he had as a doctor and said he is honored for the recognition. He said, "I think this is an extreme honor. It is the ultimate honor to be remembered by something physical even after you're gone."
