Blakely - 24-year old Thaddeous Taylor signed extradition papers this morning in Alabama and was picked up from the Dothan City jail by Early County Deputies.

Taylor is accused of beating and stabbing 55-year Lucy Major to death Friday afternoon. The former Blakely mayoral candidate's body was dumped in the woods just across the state line in Alabama.

Police say he cooperated and led them to the body early Saturday morning. Taylor is charged with murder and armed robbery. Investigators say they don't know a motive for the murder.
