Marion Reames "Sissy" Riley

Marion Reames "Sissy" Riley, 80, of Albany, died Saturday, January 21, 2006 at her home following an illness. Her funeral service will be Tuesday, 11 AM at Porterfield Memorial United Methodist Church with interment to follow at Crown Hill Cemetery.  The Revs. Nancy Scarbrough, Nathan Godley, and Dr. Don Kea will officiate.

A native and lifelong resident of Albany, she was a charter member of Porterfield Memorial United Methodist Church.  Sissy attended schools in Albany, and graduated from Albany High School in 1942.  She was employed with and retired from the Health Department.    She was a sustaining member of the Junior League of Albany.  She was preceded in death by her husband:  R. E. "Rat" Riley, and a son:  Ed Martin Riley.

Survivors include her son:  Randall Earl "Randy" Riley, Jr., Niceville, FL; 2 daughters:  Martha Glenn "Duster" Riley Burnett and Reames Riley Clanton, both of Albany; a sister: Mary Martha Reames, of Albany; 6 grandchildren:  Mason Burnett Duffy, Britton Burnett, Brannon Burnett, Dr. Colin Clanton, Blake Clanton, Addie Camille Riley; 2 great-grandchildren:  Berklie Duffy and Henley Duffy.
