Valdosta - A South Georgia United Way chapter is celebrating a record breaking year of fundraising.
The Greater Valdosta United Way wrapped up its campaign last week, raising 1 million, 250 thousand, and 100 dollars. They're goal was 1.25 million.
This year's campaign raised more money than the Valdosta chapter has ever collected.
The money will go to 23 different non profit agencies in Lowndes, Brooks, Berrien, Echols, and Lanier Counties.
