Wildcats hire defensive coordinator

Albany - the South Georgia Wildcats have named Adrian Jones their defensive coordinator for the coming season.

Jones has been the defensive backs coach at North Carolina Central University for the past four years.

Prior to joining the coaching ranks, Jones played four seasons in the Arena Football League and the Arena 2 Football League.

Jones will take over for Oscar Sturgis who served as Donnie Davis' defensive coordiantor for the final five games of the 2005 AF2 season.

The South Georgia Wildcats will open training camp in March and their season opener is April 8th at home against the Tennessee Valley Vipers.
