Murfreesboro, Tn. - Albany native Brent Brock has been named an assistant coach at Middle Tennessee State.
Brock will coach tight ends for new Blue Raiders head coach Rick Stockstill.
Brent Brock started his coaching career as an assistant to Jim Hughes at Thomasville and Colquitt County.
His first head coaching job was at Worth County in 1992 and he later moved to Fitzgerald High.
Brent Brock has been the head coach and athletic director at Jackson County High in Commerce for the past four seasons.
