Valdosta - A South Georgia amusement park is among the best on the continent.

For the fourth year, Wild Adventures made the list of top 50 amusement parks in North America. They're listed at number 38 and Cypress Gardens in Winter Haven Florida, also owned by Kent Beuscher, came in at number 41.

The list is compiled each year by Amusement Business Magazine and Economic Research Associates.

"We're proud to have Wild Adventures continually moving up the ranks. Mostly corporate giants are on this list, so we're proud to ahve two privately owned theme parks among the top 50 in North America," said Tiffany Lewis.

An estimated 1.475 million guests visited Wild Adventures in 2005. Cypress Gardens' attendence was just short of 1.4 million.
