Albany-- Deerfield-Windsor students donate hundreds of gifts to sick children at St. Jude's Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.

Each student at Deerfield-Windsor Lower School brought a toy to give to Joe Farris, southwest Georgia's famous Santa Claus.

Farris has been delivering toys to kids at St. Jude's Children's Hospital in Memphis for more than 40 years. "They are sick and need a happy smile on their face," said fifth grader Olivia Carlson.

Farris and his elves loaded up the toys and drove to Memphis Tuesday afternoon. Farris says the kids at St. Jude's schedule their doctor's appointments around his visit so they can meet with Santa!
