Lee County -- Six children were rushed to the hospital Wednesday afternoon after their pre-school van crashed in Lee County.
Around four o'clock this afternoon, the driver of this pickup truck turned in front of a van from Candyman's Playland. Everyone involved, including the six children were taken to the hospital.
Paul Thorne saw the wreck happen and was the first person on the scene. "I just ran over here, and a lot of screaming kids. I think they're all going to be okay, they're in good hands," he said.
"The children are very very petrified, rightfully so,” said Pre-School Owner Cheryl Lee. My biggest fear is the children. They have all be transported, but just to be checked out."
