Thomasville, Georgia-- A national company based in Thomasville is one step closer to recovering from Hurricane Katrina.
Flowers Foods reopened its bakery in New Orleans. It sustained heavy damage from Hurricane Katrina. Almost all of its employees returned to work, though some moved elsewhere to find new jobs.
The bakery has operated in New Orleans for forty years.
