Albany- A new children's theater group will debut in Albany this weekend with a Christmas favorite. Albany Little Theater for Children held a dress rehearsal Thursday night for its musical version of A Christmas Carol. This version differs a little in that it is more female friendly.

"Instead of Bob Crachet, we have Beth Crachet and instead of Jacob Marley we have Josie Marley and really that's the only place it deviates too much," said Alicia Croxton, Director.

The cast is made up of 45 kids grades K through 12 from 14 area schools. The performances are Friday night in the Darton College Theater at 7:00 p.m. There are two shows on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
