Valdosta- Lowndes High head coach Randy McPherson said his team left some points on the field in last week's 14-0 nothing semifinal win over Stephenson.
The Vikings found them in the AAAAA state championship game where they routed Brookwood 49-7 to win their first back to back state titles in school history.
It is the fourth overall state title for the Vikings (14-1) who reeled off 10 straight wins after a 28-7 loss to Ware County back in September.
Over the past two seasons, Lowndes has posted a 29-1 record.
The Vikings got on the scoreboard in the first quarter with Jermel Demps taking a handoff and throwing a touchdown pass to Robert Frazier for the 7-0 Viking lead.
Quarterback Doug Belk's touchdown run made it 21-0 Lowndes in the second quarter with the Vikings leading 21-7 at halftime.
Lowndes blew the game open in the third quarter with touchdown runs from Darriet Perry and Lynn Williams extended the Lowndes lead to 35-7.
