Albany- Investigators need your help to solve a string of frightening neighborhood armed robberies. Albany Police have suspects, but they don't have enough evidence to build a case. Within one week last month, armed robbers hit seven times in neighborhoods around Albany, including twice in the Lake Park area.

Police charged Silas Jackson and Michael Phillips with stealing the car but they're not charged with any of the robberies. Investigators want anyone who may have seen anything that could help them identify the suspects to contact Police. People who live in Lake Park are increasing the reward.

"We haven't confirmed the exact amount of increase, but that is the effort that we anticipate will be made to increase the reward with the notion that if we can get information leading to the arrest and conviction of the perpetrators of these crimes, that's the purpose of the reward," said Greg Edwards, Asst. District Attorney.

Greg Edwards says prosecutors take these crimes seriously. Wednesday, a grand jury indicted Harry Ferguson for two armed robberis of people in August and September.
