Albany -- WALB gets tons of e-mails, but we got one this morning that really looked suspicious.

It claims to be from Bank-Corp-South, which is a legitimate institution, but the email isn't. It asks you to verify your bank information, but if you click on the link, you go to a website that asks for your Social Security number.

We contacted Bank-Corp-South, who confirmed that this IS a fraudulent solicitation, and that they are investigating.

Remember, if you get an email that tries to get personal information, like your Social Security number, or passwords, it's a good bet that it's really a crook trying to steal your money.
