Albany- It's a welcome sight for drivers, especially those filling up for a holiday trip, gas under $2.00 a gallon. At a few places in Albany Wednesday, including Woodall's on Westover Boulevard, we found gas for $1.98. The pumps were filled with drivers filling up. The price was enough to get the attention of motorists just driving by.

"I was on my way somewhere and I saw $1.98, I said I was going to get some gas before I went back home, so I stopped," said Teresa White, Albany.

Right now, AAA says, the average price for a gallon of regular unleaded in Georgia is $2.06.
