Kid struck by commissioner's car

November 23, 2005

Albany -- An Albany city commissioner struck a child who ran out in front of the car he was driving.

Arthur Kay Williams won't face charges for hitting the 9-year old boy, because police say it wasn't his fault, and that the boy ran into the car's path.

The boy wasn't seriously hurt. He had just a few scrapes.

The accident happened November 10th on the 1300 block of University Avenue.
