Thomasville, Georgia-- A man accused of forcing himself on a 13 year old girl several times this month is being held in the Thomas County Jail.
Joey Lancaster was arrested Tuesday afternoon. Authorities say the 25 year old had sex with the girl at least once, and engaged in other sexual activity another time.
The child's parents turned Lancaster in yesterday. "Sometimes things happen, and when they do it's up to use to try to solve these things and try to do the best we can on behalf of the victims involved," says Investigator, Bob Brettel.
Investigators say Lancaster was the girl's neighbor. He's charged with child molestation. If convicted, he could spend up to 20 years in prison.
