Albany -- A downtown Albany church starts the Thanksgiving Holiday week, by helping others.

For the 12th year in a row, the Hines Memorial C.M.E. Church on North Madison held it's Caring and Sharing Thanksgiving Meal. Cooks prepared turkey dinners for more than 200.

The church also handed out clothes to dozens of people from the community. Church Volunteer Sara Bennett said "Giving back to the community, and helping those who are really in need."

Star students from the Youth Opportunity Program helped Hines Memorial Church with their caring and sharing program.
