Albany- Phoebe Putney employees want to make sure less fortunate families have something good on the table this Thanksgiving. Employees collected goods and bundled them into these Thanksgiving food baskets that will be delivered over the next three days.

The effort started small with nurses on the medical surgery floor and spread to other departments.

"We first set a goal of ten, and as this began to grow across the building from department to department it's actually grown to where we're able to feed 135 families," said Sharon Godfrey, Phoebe RN.

The baskets will go to families in six counties and as far away as Gainsville, Florida.
