Bainbridge, Georgia-- A Bainbridge man accused of molesting and impregnating his young niece is headed to prison.

Robert Sawyer was sentenced to 15 years behind bars on Tuesday. He was convicted of molesting his then nine year old niece over a three year period.

"There's no longer any 90% rule on that, but given the extenuating circumstances I think he'll have to serve the majority of that sentence. And at his age, that pretty much is a life sentence, which is pretty much what we were looking for," says District Attorney, Joe Mulholland.

The 61 year old Sawyer also got five years probation.
