Valdosta - A local manufacturer is named the best in its class.
Saft America was named manufacturer of the year by the Valdosta Lowndes County Chamber of Commerce Thursday. Headquartered in France, Saft opened it's Valdosta facility 30 years ago. They make batteries for industrial and military use.
