Tifton- Representative Jay Roberts spoke to Tifton Rotary Club members about the upcoming legislative session, and next year's budget, but says many state lawmakers are focusing on addressing the concern doctors, hospitals, and state employees have about United Healthcare.
"Naturally we want to protect our state employees. My wife is a teacher, so I'm on state merit insurance as well, so it effects me personally as well as a lot of the constituents that are in my district," Roberts says.
Roberts says most of the hospitals in House District 154 have already agreed to participate in the healthcare program.
