Albany - Today close to 500 people gathered in the Albany Civic Center to kickoff the 7th Annual Workforce Conference. This year, the focus in on development in Urban and rural Georgia.
Tuesday, Roger Tutterow kicked off the conference hurricanes, the economy is on the right track. He said, "Before the horrific events in September and October, we had an economy which had some very strong momentum and that gives us a good degree of certainty as we move forward."
The conference is hosted by the Georgia Department of Labor and continues Thursday throughout several locations in Albany.
