Thomasville, Georgia-- Investigators are trying to figure out what started a house fire in Thomasville.
It happened over the weekend at 113 East Merrill Street. Firefighters say there was heavy smoke and flames coming from the side of the house by the time they arrived. It's only about two miles from the fire station.
Fortunately, the residents made it out of the house ok, but they'll have to find somewhere else to live.
Investigators say they're looking into the cause of the fire, because there is no clear indication of how it started.
