    A couple of South Georgia mayors attended a forum at the Albany Civil Rights Institute to enlighten the public on how city governments run, Thursday.

Valdosta - A South Georgia man was struck and killed while riding his bicycle over the weekend.

The accident happened at the intersection of North Patterson Street and Daisden Avenue in Valdosta just before 7:00 Saturday night.

Thirty-eight year old Miguel Felix pulled out in front of a Ford Taurus and was hit. He died instantly.

Traffic investigators say Felix was wearing dark clothing and didn't have any lights or reflectors on his bike.
