A Lowndes County man is behind bars after deputies uncovered nearly half a million dollars of marijuana.

Quiznos Subs opened Monday on Westover Blvd. in northwest Albany, right across from Home Depot.
Chamber of Commerce ambassadors and dozens of other people were on hand for the grand opening.
Quiznos offers everything from oven-toasted subs to soups and salads.
Owner Todd Stone says Quizno's is the fastest growing restaurant concept in the world and South Georgians are in for a big treat.
"Anybody who's ever had a Quizno's sub loves it, and they're excited about it being here, and people who haven't had one have seen so many commercials on TV that they can't wait to try one," says Stone.
