Albany - Saturday night was going to be a special night for the Albany State football team, regardless.
The last home game of the regular season always is, as it's a last chance for the fans to pay homage to the teams seniors.
But word spread quickly about another major attraction, as Denzel Washington was spotted on the visiting Morehouse sidelines.
Washington was in town to cheer on his son John David Washington, who is a senior running back for the Maroon Tigers.
It would be the Albany State offense putting on a show, with Hosea Harris running and throwing for a touchdown to put the Rams up 14-0 before halftime.
The scoring would continue for ASU after the break, as they drop Morehouse 37-13.
Albany State will be on the road next week at Fort Valley.
