Arkansas - It wasn't pretty, but the Valdosta State football team got the job done, beating Southern Arkansas 44-41.
The Blazers rolled up 431 yards rushing, but the Black Swarm defense allowed 615 total yards of offense, and trailed 26-14 at halftime.
Barrett Wilkes was 18 of 26 for 294 yards and a touchdown.
Vincent Brown led the ground attack for VSU, rushing 24 times for 138 yards and 3 touchdowns.
Wide Receiver Sherad Reynold caught six passes for 194 yards and 2 scores.
Valdosta State is now 9-1 on the season, and return home to host West Georgia next week.
