Undated - The Valdosta State Blazers are moving up and the Albany State Golden Rams continue to fall in the latest NCAA Division II Southeast regional rankings.
The Blazers are now number one in the region after St. Augustine's lost to CIAA rival Fayetteville State last week.
St.Augustine's drops to second and is one spot ahead of conference rival North Carolina Central.
Presbyterian is fourth and Central Arkansas is fifth this week while Albany State drops to sixth even though they have won their last two games.
The Rams, who were the number one seed in last year's playoffs, were ranked third two weeks ago.
The top two seeds in the final region poll in two weeks receive first round byes and seeds three and four will get to host first round games.
Albany State running back Antwan Andrews is the co-offensive player of the week in the SIAC and Ron Simmons is the offensive lineman.
Valdosta State kicker Michael Green is the Gulf South Conference's speical teams player of the week for his four field goal performance in the Blazers win against North Alabama.
