Albany - The returning Albany State fans and alumni got the outcome they wanted, as the Rams defeated Benedict College 28-21 on Homecoming.
Antwan Andrews found the endzone twice in the first half, as the Rams lead 14-7 at the break.
A questionable out-of-bounds call on a catch by Joshua Johnson late in the half brought back another score that would have put ASU up 21-7.
The win is the sixth in a row for Albany State.
The Rams will host conference foe Morehouse next week at 7 p.m.
This will be the first and only time all season ASU plays back-to-back games at home.
