Albany- Southwest Georgia had a chance to show it's star potential Saturday. Sensations Entertainment held auditions at the Hilton Garden Inn for the Dougherty and Lee Counties first annual "Entertainer of the Year Contest".

Auditions were open to groups or individuals. Two brothers from Moultrie used their voices in hopes of making it to the next round.

"Music is my passion, I've been doing music since I was two. I started out playing the drums then I was in the band in middle school, then I got into high school and got into choir," said Willie Ray Tantum of Moultrie who auditioned.

Contestants who make it past this round will compete again November 5th at the Albany Municipal Auditorium.
