Thomasville, Georgia-- A double amputee who was evicted from his apartment in Pelham is fighting back.

John Thornton has been living at a shelter in Thomasville for about nine days now. He says that Friday morning, he filed a harassment complaint with the state government about Georgia Pines apartments.

"At least weekly about you don't fit the program, you're going to have to get out. You can't take care of yourself. That's not true. I was completely independent," says Thornton.

Thornton says the harassment started after Georgia Pines was cited for not being handicapped accessible.
